Man gets 10 years for dog fighting

where the hell was this judge when Michael Vick was being sentenced? She would have saved a lot of BS and a “comeback” for his sorry ass. Oh wait, that’s right, Vick never plead guilty to animal cruelty he plead not guilty. He served his time for “racketeering” never for animal cruelty. I really wish this judge could have gotten him. Maybe those idolizing and “supporting” him would think twice.

Sammy at Noah’s Ark Rescue

God bless Sammy. What a beautiful and sweet boy. It always amazes me how a dog can be beaten and tortured and still love like nothing ever happened. I wish Sammy a very happy life and a big THANK YOU to his rescuers.

Animals In High Point NC have NO rights

You want to know what really pisses me off? The fact that law enforcement was shown proof of animal abuse and they did absolutely NOTHING about it. Then when they finally made their move they arrest the wrong guy. WTF?????? The sad part is God only knows what happened to this terrified pit bull who has ultimately been given a bad name because of his breed and what’s worse is the son of a bitch who was hitting him and slamming him and kicking him is probably still out there doing it to other innocent animals. When is it ever going to stop? When will enough be enough? We as a society are supposed to stand up for the innocent, animals and children alike. But why won’t authorities be bothered? I bet if they did get the right guy they could have gotten him for other things too. What a heartless heartless place to be. I hope that pup is no longer suffering at the hands of his cowardly owner. I hope the authorities in High Point WAKE THE **** UP! What is in the proof of the video is NOT RIGHT and NEVER EVER will be.

2 abused St Bernards Johnstown, PA

I give huge props to Dogs Deserve Better Tammy Grimes. She is included in the story of Doogie, a dog she was called to check on only to find that the dog couldn’t even walk. Emotions took over and she took the dog to save it. Long story short she was made out to be the bad guy for “stealing” the dog. She saved him. Evidently there seems to be miscommunication and many crooked people involved in animal welfare in PA.

Her newest attempt, she tried to save these two saint bernards and another dog the RIGHT way, the way she was told to do so by the judge and the police and what happened? One dog died, another disappears, the “owner” walks away free without incident and the dogs suffer and no one gives a shit.

Check out her findings, including video proof of what is going on in her crooked little town. The owner was tipped off. JERKS!!!!!

This totally breaks my heart. As a society we should be able to do something to save these animals and the real abusers should be punished. Instead, those trying to save the animals and give them help are the ones criticized and pushed aside while the animals suffer more.

More power to you Ms Grimes, dogs do deserve better and you have my full and total support to save them all!

Did you know that your “harmless” hobby or quick buck helps to contribute to this? yes this video is from an Australian organization but it was filmed in the United States because this is what happens in the United States every hour of every day. Wake up and think before more animals die. And don’t say you’re breeding to enhance the breed. The other “breed enhancements” are in shelters all around you waiting in line for the gas chambers and heart sticks. Don’t be stupid. Be responsible. Spay and neuter.

Boost the Boxer Rest in Peace Sweet One

So a friend of mine passed on this story to me. It’s about Boost, a Boxer who got out of his fenced in yard during the day and roamed. The neighbors didn’t know whose dog he was and picked him up and took him to the animal shelter. Long story short it was a kill shelter. The staff lied and said Boost was aggressive and had to be euthanized. So in the time that the neighbors turned him in and the owner called the shelter to see if he had been picked up the shelter staff KILLED him and then showed no compassion toward the owner or toward Boost. Then to top it off they lied lied and lied. But, the cameras don’t lie and there is proof that Boost, God rest his soul, was anything but aggressive.

So please view the links and watch the videos and see for yourself and form your own opinion. But as for me, I believe that something aside from a slap on the wrist should be done and justice should be served. I also wish that people could show more compassion. And last but certainly not least, I wish and pray that kill shelters didn’t have to exist. Too many innocent animals die for so many reasons.
