I know it’s been a while since I posted here and I’ve been thinking. Since there are so many blogs out there talking about the wrong doing against animals and the jerks that are ruining this world, I’m going to do nothing but post positive posts for the year. It’s only fair. I’m tired of being depressed and stressing over these fools. May all the animals rest in peace and all their abusers rest in prison or hell, whichever comes first. So from here on out, let’s see what I can find that is positive. I probably won’t get very many views but I need a boost and we can all use a great pick me up after such a sad year in the animal world. So let the good vibes begin.

Video of girl throwing newborn puppies into the river
Posted by la reina de chanclas on August 31, 2010
I’ve seen a lot of sick and twisted things since becoming more involved in animal rescue and crossposting, but for this year, this takes the cake. I don’t know who this girl is or what type of illness she suffers from or if she’s possessed by demons but there is no rhyme or reason for doing such a heinous thing.
There’s a facebook page dedicated to finding her http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=130839920295830&ref=mf
The video has been removed from youtube. It, however, can be seen here. Please watch at your own risk. What a terrible situation. Absolutely heartbreaking. http://www.allvoices.com/contributed-news/6643242-video-girl-throws-puppies-into-river
And there’s a request that public make it known that this unacceptable.
So please if you can take a little time out of your day please help in causing an uproar so that this “girl”, if you want to call her that, be brought to justice. And also make it known that her friends that videoed and knew what she was doing be held accountable as well. Let’s find them before they find more helpless animals to harm.

Robeson County Animal Shelter
Posted by la reina de chanclas on June 16, 2010
We all need to ban together and get nationwide recognition of what is happening at this shelter. There has been a lot going on. Due to animal activists urging Jeff Bass, the director, resigned. Well that was the first step in the right direction. However the employees at this shelter have done a complete 180 and are outright neglecting these poor animals and the higher ups just don’t see a problem with it. In retaliation to everyone who gives a damn about the welfare of these animals, the shelter employees have removed all food, water, & bedding from the kennels. They haven’t cleaned out the kennels and to top it off none of the animals are receiving veterinary care. The animal advocacy world is buzzing and trying to find new strategies and execute a new plan and get this disaster some attention. In the meantime I can’t help but wonder how many of these animals will die in the process? It’s not right and it’s not fair. These animals do NOT deserve to be treated this way. These workers need to grow up and get with real life. These animals are the reason that they have a job. They should be doing everything they can to do right by them and STOP the abuse. Evidently they have been desensitized from “caring” for animals for so long that they just don’t care anymore. They should be ashamed at themselves for their subhuman behavior. The proof is overwhelming. Who can we contact and who will listen? The longer it goes on, the more “acceptable” it is. Speak up for these animals. If we don’t, who will?

Kids in Nayarit Mexico sick pitbulls on street dog then beat it to death
Posted by la reina de chanclas on April 24, 2010
I know I’ve been avoiding posting for a while. I’m trying to stay positive, but there seems to come a post every now and then that makes my blood boil and this is the one that got me. I almost ignored the post, but I’m glad I didn’t because this is what keeps me focused on helping the animals. That being said, between us, I’d like to find these kids and do to them what they did to that poor dog. That dog never had a chance. And the real kicker here? They posted the pictures and videos to facebook. I know there’s a line of people who want to get their hands on these kids. I hope and pray that there is justice for this poor dog. I can only imagine what these kids will be like as adults. Wife beaters? child molesters? Serial killers? Gang members? They are extremely violent and have no compassion for other living beings. I know the article and video are in spanish but let me just say if you have a weak heart please do not watch the video but please please please please sign this petition and share the link so others can be made aware as well. Let’s find justice for this poor helpless dog.

Here In This House – Author Unknown
Posted by la reina de chanclas on March 15, 2010
Here in this house… I will never know the loneliness I hear in the barks
of the other dogs ‘out there’. I can sleep soundly, assured that when I
wake my world will not have changed. I will never know hunger, or the fear of
not knowing if I’ll eat. I will not shiver in the cold, or grow weary from
the heat. I will feel the sun’s heat, and the rain’s coolness, and be
allowed to smell all that can reach my nose.
My fur will shine, and never be dirty or matted.
Here in this house… There will be an effort to communicate with
me on my level. I will be talked to and, even if I don’t understand, I
can enjoy the warmth of the words. I will be given a name so that I
may know who I am among many. My name will be used in joy, and I will
love the sound of it!
Here in this house… I will never be a substitute for anything I am
not. I will never be used to improve peoples’ images of themselves. I
will be loved because I am who I am, not someone’s idea of who I
should be. I will never suffer for someone’s anger, impatience, or
stupidity. I will be taught all the things I need to know to be loved
by all. If I do not learn my lessons well, they will look to my
teacher for blame.
Here in this house… I can trust arms that hold, hands that touch…
knowing that, no matter what they do, they do it for the good of me.
If I am ill, I will be doctored. If scared, I will be calmed. If sad, I will be
cheered. No matter what I look like, I will be considered beautiful
and known to be of value.
I will never be cast out because I am too old, too ill, too unruly, or not
cute enough. My life is a responsibility, and not an afterthought. I
will learn that humans can almost, sometimes, be as kind and as fair
as dogs.
Here in this house… I will belong. I will be home.

Dear God by Terry D. King
Posted by la reina de chanclas on January 15, 2010
Dear God,
God I don’t understand you put me here with unconditional love I thought the most intelligent of your creatures the humans would be the same way.
It all started the day they the people came to take me away; I didn’t want to leave my mom, but she sad I was going to a good home. I was sad, but the little boy seemed to love me and being so tiny I really didn’t have a choice. I arrived at my home and things started out well. The little boy play with me all the time, my belly was full, and I had a warm bed. Then my world fell apart. The little boy had something called a birthday and got this new toy called a play station. He spent all his time playing it and when I tried to play with him, he pushed me away. Stupid dog he would say. Then his parents yelled at him to feed me over and over. When he finally did he yelled at me for being so much trouble. Without warning he kicked me across the room. What did I do? All I ever did was love him, I gave him kisses when he got in trouble, and laid beside him on the bed as he cried.
God, I didn’t mean to pee on the carpet. I tried to tell everybody and I was ignored.
So now here I am tried to a tree and it so very hot. I’m starving and I haven’t been fed in days. The boy’s parents yell him to feed me and he says that he does, but I haven’t seen him in days. The Last time he fed me, he poured half the bag of food on the ground and said you better make it last. Then this big dog came out of the woods and started eating my food. I thought hey a new friend, but when I went over to greet him he knocked me to the ground and held me by the throat. I ran away yelping and watched as he devoured all my food. My water almost gone now and it taste funny because of the green stuff growing in the bottom. Maybe if I bark they will come to check on me. Well that just got me yelled at. So if I keep doing it maybe they will get the message. Nope now the human next door is fussing at my family about me barking. I would play with my ball, but I can’t reach it anymore. Here comes someone with my dad, he as a shiny tag on his shirt. I hear my dad saying that the boy just not ready for a pet and that this man can find me a new home. He just walks away.
The man put me in a cage in the back of the truck and drives away. We arrive at this brick building. When we go inside the smell is so awful, the barking dogs are so loud and now I’m scared to death. The dogs look so lonely and afraid. The nice man puts me in a cage and gives me food and water. Maybe this place is not so bad. Each day people come though and look at us. Sometimes they leave with a dog. Why don’t they pick me? I’m a good dog and would love to play with their children. Everyday the shelter workers come and take dogs to this room and they never come out. I hear people say that are putting them to sleep. That must mean that they are finally going somewhere to get some rest from all this barking. Here she comes, my friend that plays with me everyday. She says she sorry but my time is up. We go to the room where all my other friends disappeared. As she standing there holding me I feel her warm tears hitting my head and I look up and lick them from her face. The person she calls Doctor comes in and they place me on the table. The Doctor pulls up some pink stuff and the little girl olds my leg. The Dr. sticks me with the needle and puts the pink stuff in my leg. My little friend picks me up and goes and sits with me in the floor, crying uncontrollably now. As the room goes dark, the last words I hear are I’m sorry and you are going to a better place.
Where am I, the light is so bright. Is that you God? This is such a beautiful place. Where are we going? As we cross this bridge I see dogs everywhere running, playing and splashing in the cool creek. The cats are even playing with the dogs and there is no fighting. Then I see her my friend the pit bull, She looks so much better all her scars and sores are gone. She is so happy that she doesn’t have live as a bait dog anymore. Thank you God for saving her because she could never find a home after all she had been through. Is that my favorite ball? God, would it be all right if I go play now.
God said, “Yes my child you are finally home and you never have to worry about anything again.”

ALERT: Save Iditarod dogs from horrific cruelty – WRITE *Alaska veterinarian says mushers crack ribs, break jaws or skulls:
Posted by la reina de chanclas on January 14, 2010
Please send protest emails and forward this alert widely.
From the Sled Dog Action Coalition, http://www.helpsleddogs.org
Sled dog puppies may die in the Iditarod or during training.
Contact information, blocks of email addresses and sample letter are below.
Please help end the horrific treatment of dogs by sending protest emails to organizations that support the Iditarod. Six dogs died in the 2009 race, including two dogs on Dr. Lou Packer’s team who froze to death in the brutally cold winds. What happens to the dogs during the Iditarod includes death, paralysis, frostbite (where it hurts the most!), bleeding ulcers, bloody diarrhea, lung damage, pneumonia, ruptured discs, viral diseases, broken bones, torn muscles and tendons and sprains.
During training runs, Iditarod dogs have been killed by moose, snowmachines, and various motor vehicles, including a semi tractor and an ATV. They have died from drowning, heart attacks and being strangled in harnesses. Dogs have also been injured while training. They have been gashed, quilled by porcupines, bitten in dog fights, and had broken bones, and torn muscles and tendons. Most dog deaths and injuries during training aren’t even reported.
Dog beatings and whippings are common. During the 2007 Iditarod, eyewitnesses reported that musher Ramy Brooks kicked, punched and beat his dogs with a ski pole and a chain. Jim Welch says in his book Speed Mushing Manual, “A training device such as a whip is not cruel at all but is effective.” He also said, “It is a common training device in use among dog mushers…”
Iditarod dog kennels are puppy mills. Mushers breed large numbers of dogs and routinely kill unwanted ones, including puppies. Many dogs who are permanently disabled in the Iditarod, or who are unwanted for any reason, are killed with a shot to the head, dragged, drowned or clubbed to death.
Most Internet service providers allow people to send up to 40 email addresses at a time. For your convenience, the addresses have been divided into groups of 40. Please email the first group first. Individual email addresses are given under the sample letter. The groups contain addresses for the 2010 Iditarod sponsors, promoters, and musher sponsors. Email blocks with semicolons and commas are on http://www.helpsleddogsorg/sponsors.htm.
SAMPLE LETTER (Please personalize)
Dear Iditarod Supporter:
For the dogs, the Iditarod dog sled race is a bottomless pit of suffering. Please end your organization’s support of this event. Six dogs died in the 2009 Iditarod, including two dogs on Dr. For more facts, visit the Sled Dog Action Coalition website, http://www.helpsleddogs.org .

Iditarod dog kennels are puppy mills. Mushers breed large numbers of dogs and routinely kill unwanted ones, including puppies. Many dogs who are permanently disabled in the Iditarod, or who are unwanted for any reason, including those who have outlived their usefulness, are killed with a shot to the head, dragged, drowned or clubbed to death. “Dogs are clubbed with baseball bats and if they don’t pull are dragged to death in harnesses…..” wrote former Iditarod dog handler Mike Cranford in an article for Alaska’s Bush Blade Newspaper.
Jon Saraceno wrote in his March 3, 2000 column in USA Today, “He [Colonel Tom Classen] confirmed dog beatings and far worse. Like starving dogs to maintain their most advantageous racing weight. Skinning them to make mittens. Or dragging them to their death.”
During the race, veterinarians do not give the dogs physical exams at every checkpoint. Mushers speed through many checkpoints, so the dogs get the briefest visual checks, if that. Instead of pulling sick dogs from the race, veterinarians frequently give them massive doses of antibiotics to keep them running.
Please end your organization’s association with this horrific race.
Sincerely,

There was a great commercial years ago about… THE PHONE BOOK/NAMES AND NUMBERS/YELLOW PAGES etc
It said “Let your fingers do the walking!”
We are a Global Network. It is “YOU” who is the “ONE”, that can make the difference!
For all people, with any disabilities, poor of pocket but not poor of the heart, people with money who love and share. Translate the language for all Nations. Sign language for the death, be the eye’s for the blind. Speak for those who cannot read or wright. Communicate with your whole heart, body and soul.
Your message, from your heart, will be heard across the World! To bring an end, To The Gassing of all Animals. To close down these barbaric killing machines. The Gas Chambers. That are being used to kill our Pets, our companions, the wildlife who keep us all alive.
It is also killing the people who are trying to stop this, in so many ways! To put an end to all that is wrong…………..
I am just the witness, the messenger. I am just a Cockney rebel, rhyming slang, dirt under my nails and my hairs a mess, I cry,I hurt, am tired too but have stood my ground on this. I speak the Queen’s English in many accents. I love all life! I live in the USA. I love this whole world. And it scars the crap out of me too!. But we have to make a stand and lift up those who cannot. And in return they will up lift all others too. In the understanding, that we all have rights. We all have guardianship of this Earth. We are all shepherds of this Earth. This Earth, our home, has to be shared, for the love of all life. To protect the past the present and the future.
So, “THE ONE VOICE” you long to hear is, your voice which will be echoed by millions. Your voice will be be heard throughout the World!
God Bless America, God Bless the Whole World!
Happy New Year! This day, Friday January the first, 2010
Members, go rock this world………..it belongs to you!
God Bless you and be safe, always. With love to you all, always and forever

“THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE CONTROLS THE NATION” George E. Miller II
My letter to President Obama. Posted on the Discusion Board of the ‘WHITE HOUSE’ on Face Book . No time for a spell check on this one, becuse the animals can’t read
Dear Mr President,
There are still many States that are Gassing Animals with Carbon Monoxide. This is a painfull, horrific and slow death, depite what you may have heard or you may not even be aware of. This form of killing unwanted Pets, that have become a throw away item by millions of people, has to stop. For those people who are not of aware of how thier companions, there beloved best friend are being killed becuse they have been lied to is heart breaking to them , us and I am sure to you when you find out what is really going on. The majority of people cannot pay the outragous costs that many Vets are charging, to Euthanise . The cost is up to $80+ and more if it is after hours. This is a horrific tradgedy for the average person, the animals and this great country. Becaue they have been lied to. I will never call these places Shelters……….they are Pounds. They have not earned the respect of the meaning of the word Shelter. It is an insult to the millions of good Shelters across this great Nation. It is an insult to the millions of the good animals rescuers , who work in the trenches, with little to no money, who work tirelessly to end this. The wealth needs to be shared and not funneled to the big orginization. This will never solve the problem, it is not the solution, never has been and never will be.
So I am writting to you Mr President becaue we cannot as individuals stop this. We like you, have jobs, families, trying to live and take care for them and so many other things we do on a daily basis.
HSUS, supports the Gas Chambers
AVMA, supports the Gas Chambers
USDA will not licnece many States for pounds to use Sodium Pentobarbitol
NACA have the training for AC officers to go to Lethal Injection
OSHA Loop hole…….now the Manufacture’s of The Gas Chambers, have inspectors, some cheat and lie……..so that just tied the hands of OSHA
Manufacturers of The Gas Chamber’s………..one that I know of is owened by a DVM!
B Class dealers, who love these out of the way places, so they can cheat, steal people pets and many pets never even get into the front entrance of these pounds………..their ID”S are removed, they are either gassed or taken to reserch labs. This is illegal.
And there are a lot more in the mix of this , corruption, Pit Fighters etc.
Many people in these Gassing Pounds try to get then to change and if they speck out are threatened, told to leave and a lot worse than that too.
I worked here in Clovis NM and it happend to me. Governor Richardson signed into law HB 265 Prohibiting The Gassing Of Cats and Dogs, the ban went into effect on July 19th of this year 2009. I think he is a wonderful man and listened to what the people of New Mexico asked him to do.
Wildlife are also being killed in these Gas Chambers too and I totally undersatand that if that issue had been adressed it would have taken longer to get the Gassing Banned here. So it had to be addressed this way to advance to the next stage. However it is the animals that cannot wait for more debate, more negotations, more arguing about who is right or wrong.
So that is why I am writting to you. To ask you to bring an end to this atrocity that brings shame to this great country…….The United States of America.
Thank you for all that you are doing for this country in such a time of a Global crises.
My gratitude to you always,
God Bless you and your family
And here’s to a Happy New Year, for all that we love

Man gets 10 years for dog fighting
Posted by la reina de chanclas on September 3, 2009
where the hell was this judge when Michael Vick was being sentenced? She would have saved a lot of BS and a “comeback” for his sorry ass. Oh wait, that’s right, Vick never plead guilty to animal cruelty he plead not guilty. He served his time for “racketeering” never for animal cruelty. I really wish this judge could have gotten him. Maybe those idolizing and “supporting” him would think twice.
