I sometimes can’t look at these but in doing so I find the strength to fight for a greater cause to save these poor animals from ignorant, greedy, misinformed human beings. It’s a sad world we live in.

I was sitting here again tonight on myspace reading bulletins and passing them along. I had tears in my eyes then I started crying. I just wonder how so many people can not cry. I wonder how the rescue workers and animal lovers find the courage to keep pushing forward. I see the pictures, I see the videos, I read the stories, and still I weep. I have always considered myself a brave person but this pulls at my heart everytime. I really wish there was more I could do. Maybe I could foster. Maybe I could adopt another. They say the good deed starts at home. My neighbors could use the get a clue button in regards to their pets. I just find it extremely saddening that there are people out their buying purebred animals when there are purebred animals in the shelters being killed every day. When there are purebred animals walking down the side of the road living on the streets with no food or shelter or family to love them. How can we as humans let this happen?
Still I sit and wonder if tomorrow will be the same thing. Another day, another cry and life goes on. I wish that one day, some day, this world will be a better place. That there will be no animals suffering, no children being abused and every one can live prosperously.
