Woman beats CHAINED dog with branch

Posted by la reina de chanclas on February 26, 2008

So I came across this video from my wonderful animal lover friends. This woman Ashley Genarra went to court and just got a slap on the wrist for hitting this dog. I really hope she doesn’t have kids. I’d hate to see what she does to them. Where’s the justice? What is it going to take for harsher punishment for people like this? Someone should beat her with a stick and see if she likes it.

i swear to god these people need to be stopped or put in jail for how ever long it takes for them to understand that any animal is just like one of us and you should treat it like you wanna be treated the only reason why you stupid ass people hit on animals is because you know it cant hit you back but someone should!!!!!!!!!!!!

This lady deserves to be in jail for a long time!! The punishment for her crime is just stupid, and it shows that there is still some injustice out there when it comes to animal cruelty. However, I’m sure she’s going to suffer for a long time in the after-life.

i have two pitbulls of my own and i think that this lady should be done the same way that she beat her dog. i would never even think of mistreating one of my dogs, they are like my children to me. i can’t even began to think were people get off by beating on some poor defensless animal.

That’s a DAMN SHAME! And by the way the dog looked at her when she was coming toward it, I could tell that it was not the first time it was beaten. Did you see the look on her face? She didn’t look happy either. I wonder who she’s really mad at, to take it out on a dog. Yet she gets a slap on the wrist.

I discipline my dog with a sharp sounding UH, UH, and that’s it! And it’s been working for five years now. But she also gets tons of exercise, love, and positive reinforcement.

With some of the things I’ve seen people do to their animals, the only reason I’m not in jail for beating the s**t outta those folks, is because I love my Della (The Wonder Pit), and Felix The Cat too much, and I couldn’t take them with me.

As bad as her beating her pet is, I see another abuse happening in that video…

Some people must see puppies and think to themselves, “I’d sure like to have one of those chained to the tree out behind my house.”

I just don’t get it. Dogs living in those conditions have atrophied muscles and suffer from arthritis because they don’t get proper exercise. I also doubt they get fed and watered regularly, much less puppy toys and cookies like we give give our dogs. And if he’s chained up, how can he protect her family or property? Not to mention the psychological damage it’s doing to him. Dogs are social creatures, descendant of wolves who live in packs. They need companionship the same as people. When you adopt a dog, you and your family become their pack. My dog, Jake, sleeps in the bed with me every night and I take him everywhere I can with me. He’s my best friend. Not long ago I think he may have saved my life when a strange man approached my truck.

There should be laws against chaining dogs up. It’s abusive and neglectful…its just cruel.
